Chillicothe UMC Adult Ministries is designed to help men, women, older adults and young adults connect with the church, grow deeper in their relationship with Christ together, serve in the ways God has gifted each one of us, and to build encouragement through fellowship and the study of God’s word. The adult ministry at CUMC has many volunteers providing various ways for men and women to connect with the church. There is something for everyone here at Chillicothe UMC and we hope you find a way to connect to our church family.

Nursery

On Sunday morning, the nursery is available for children birth through 3 years during all worship services. The nursery is located downstairs and is accessible through the doors leading to the UMC Preschool classrooms. A paid employee and a volunteer are responsible for care of those in the nursery, and all nursery workers and volunteers must have completed Safe Sanctuary training. Learn more about Safe Sanctuaries here.

The nursery is also available on the third and fourth Wednesday evenings of the month from 6:00-8:15pm to provide parents involved in bible studies or church meetings with a fun and safe child care option. At least one parent must remain on church property while a child is in the nursery on Wednesday nights. See the church floorplan or a greeter or usher if you don’t know how to find the nursery.
