Our ministry to children is to help and support parents in providing a spiritual foundation to help them grow in their faith through education, worship and service. It is our vision to lead children and their families into a unique relationship with God by creating a community of grace in which children are encouraged to follow Jesus' life and teaching, understanding their individual value and God-given gifts that positively affect others to begin to know Jesus.
Safe Sanctuary Policy and procedures are adopted to support our commitment to make the church a safe place. We take seriously our responsibility to respect the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual health of every person consistent with sharing the love of God through Jesus Christ and God’s word.
There are many opportunities where your child/children could experience God’s love, grow in faith and serve God and others as a Christian disciple.
We also provide special ministry such as new baby ministry, Easter family event, Birthday party for Jesus, Bible Adventure Club and for summer activities we have camping, VBS, Backpack blessings and more.
The activities provided through the Children's Ministry are geared toward preschool-aged children through 5th grade. Contact Mike for more information on programs for children at CUMC.
